California State University, Sacramento hosts their 1st Annual Black History Month Business Pitch Competition. The competition seeks to support Sacramento Black-owned businesses by granting them the opportunity to have their business pitch and operations evaluated by a panel of judges experienced in entrepreneurship, finance, or business development. The top three placing businesses receive cash prizes of $1500, $1000, and $500 along with an interview with the ‘Black Alumni Council’ member Courtney Dempsey and a complementary legal review session with BAC alumni Liku Amadi, Owner of Anasa Law Firm. Our CEO/Founder DeJaun Gooden will be one of the judges to assist granting the winners an opportunity to grow and scale their business.
